Archway Chiropractic in Market Harborough

Tracy Dixon

Tracy Dixon is the chiropractor owner of Archway Chiropractic. She qualified with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic in 1998 after 5 years of full-time study at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. After 4 very enjoyable years working as an Associate Chiropractor in North Devon, Tracy took up position as Senior Chiropractor in a Northampton practice, where she worked for 10 years up until August 2012. During her time in Northampton, Tracy was involved in the training of new chiropractic graduates, and held study sessions for midwives and trainee GP’s.

In August 2012, an opportunity presented itself for Tracy to join the exceptional team at Archway House Natural Health Centre and to realise her dream of owning and running her own Chiropractic business. For Tracy, chiropractic is a way of life; it is not just about pain relief but about quality of life, getting well and staying well, and maintaining a healthy body for the future.

Tracy has many years experience in treating people of all ages with a wide range of conditions, and she has a particular affinity with treating pregnant women and children, even as young as 3 weeks old! In fact, Tracy’s own son received his first chiropractic treatment at just 3 days old after a traumatic birth. Tracy herself has benefitted from chiropractic treatment since she was 7 years old, after a fall from a hammock, and from a young age, knew that in life she wanted to be able to help people. With her gentle manner, empathy, and expertise, all channelled through her chiropractic work, she is able to achieve this.

It is no surprise that her son is already a little petrol head, given that Tracy herself used to be a keen racing driver! In 2007, she won a coveted place, out of the 1500 women who applied, in the Formula Woman Racing Championship, bringing her Caterham home 3rd overall. When not behind the wheel herself, Tracy could often be found at a race circuit somewhere, often as Team Chiropractor (from club racing to the Le Mans Endurance Series). Whilst she has now hung up her racing boots, Tracy still enjoys the thrill of motorsport and still loves to get on the track whenever she can!

Thanks to Tracy’s unique insight into motorsport-related injuries, the treatment she has carried out on me has completely removed all of the discomfort that I have previously been suffering with, and I have felt much more comfortable in the race car following the treatment. Thank you very much Tracy.” Mr JS. ARDS race instructor and racing driver.

Chiropractor Connor Salter

Connor Salter

Connor Salter qualified with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic in 2000 from the School of Chiropractic at the University of Johannesburg. Working in clinics in Warwickshire, Norfolk and Somerset, it was during his time at the Northampton Chiropractic Clinic where Tracy and Connor first worked together. And in June 2015, Connor joined Archway Chiropractic as an Associate Chiropractor.

Connor treats people of all ages, with a wide variety of symptoms. He has been involved in the training of new chiropractic graduates, been a speaker at the Northampton General Hospital on the profession of chiropractic, and enjoys giving talks to local groups such as the Women’s Institute.

Connor also has a particular interest in ergonomics and work place assessments, and alongside Tracy, will be developing this further.

Outside of work, Connor is a family man with a young daughter, but it remains to be seen whether she will also follow down the petrol-head route, much like Tracy’s son! Connor enjoys all things Motorsport and rebuilt an original  VW Beetle which is his very yellow pride of joy! Connor has also enjoyed competitive racing in the past, although unlike Tracy’s 4-wheeled efforts, Connor raced road bikes of the pedal power variety!
