Obtaining X-Rays or MRI Scans To Support Your Treatment

Chiropractors are qualified to take and read X-Rays and to refer for MRI scans. Currently we do not have in-house X-ray facilities at Talako Therapies, but we have very good links with X-ray and MRI services in the local area. Should X-rays or MRI scans be required, your chiropractor will advise you of this, either during your Initial Consultation or further into your treatment program as needed. If imaging is required, it will depend on whether a referral is required to your GP, whether you have private medical insurance, or whether you are self-funding, as to the process to obtain the X-rays or scans.
